## Jebadiah A blacksmith and survivor in [[Everdour]] whose prayer brought the heroes. ### Description - Blacksmith - Former follower of Heliod - Had his leg taken by the Grooglemen ### Family - Grandfather to [[Treya]] and [[Kay]] - Father to [[Marrie]] (widow who was chosen as tribute) ### Tragedy When Marrie was chosen as tribute, Jebadiah walked with her and refused to comply. The Grooglemen attacked: - Took his son (Marrie's husband) - Took his leg - He fought but lost ### The Prayer Broke his vow and prayed to Heliod: "Father, I break my vow, send heroes." The heroes ([[Kohr]], [[Eladan]], [[Eloise]], [[Cryo]], [[Zradrech]]) arrived in answer to this prayer. ### Later Life After the heroes saved Everdour, Jebadiah taught smithing to the followers and survivors.
