Kar’Karramesh was once an underwater volcano, though long years of Dwarven labour have worked every square meter of its slopes, leaving nothing of its original faces exposed. Learned Dwarves claim that the city was founded in the unknown ages before the Shrouded Epoch, though such claims remain unverified even to this day,. Kar’Karramesh guards the northwestern reaches of Kirra’Kar, where the narrow river Valley widens into a delta that flows into the rich Dwarflands beyond. The city serves as a bulwark against the outside world, a Bosporus through which all travel into Kirra’Kar must pass.
