# The Goddess The Goddess is impossibly ancient and densely populated. This is one of the busiest places in the setting, famous for the vast library contained within the head, the great Guild Halls within the chest, the luxurious pleasure lounges and fancy boutiques of the midsection, the bustling Bazaar in the thighs, and the infamous Blood Bowl in Cankletown, where gladiators struggle to win the favour of the crowd. Outside, a vast slum sprawls around her feet, while high above, her four massive outstretched arms serve as airship docks. Including the slums, the population is well in excess of one million souls. A rare moss grows on her lower half, giving her the appearance of wearing a lush, green skirt. Religious acolytes known as "The Sated" harvest this moss to produce the narcotic known as Qish (or "the Goddess' Kiss) - a highly addictive substance that increases longevity and competence. Detoxification from a Qish addiction often results in death, so many people who come to the Goddess (whether as pilgrims, merchants, or mercenaries) never leave. ![The_Goddess.png](The_Goddess.png) [[The Embrace]] [[Temple District]] [[Shrine of the Goddess]] [[The Thighs]] [[Kankletown]]
